This gorgeous Merrythought antique mohair Lion has an orange/golden body with white mane and white paws and jaw!
'Leo', as he has been known since his time with me, has his original tag, and his body has been re-homed once, with only minor bare patches. He wears his age well!
I have been told he was born in the early 1930s, at the beginning of the Merrythought era, however I have not been able to find his birth name or any of his siblings elsewhere!
Leo's tag reads: Merrythought, Ironbridge, Shopshire, England (Reg'd Design).
His size is 36cm/14.17in (from the tip of his tail to his snout) by 27cm/10.62in (from the top of his head to the bottom of his paws).
This majestic King of the Jungle is a fabulous and rare collector’s item, and must go to a loving home!
