EVERGREEN REVIEW was a literary magazine published quarterly by Grove Press in the late 50’s and 1960’s. This CD contains every page of the first ten issues. In total, over 200 articles, which include plays, short stories, essays, poetry, reviews, illustrations, and even cartoons. There were a variety of writers. Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg were regular contributors.
In short, this CD is a great look back at what was being written and discussed in those days.
