Accurate and readable documents are essential in creating a professional image, and few things can do more harm to your image than a poorly translated document. As acknowledged by all professional translators, high-quality translation can only be done by a native speaker of the target language.
I’m from the United States, where I earned a B.A. in psychology and a M.A. in east-west psychology. I’ve been translating on a professional basis since 2004, and am a former full-time Chinese-to-English translator at the International Affairs Department of Dharma Drum Foundation in Taipei. Recent clients include Panorama Magazine and the National Palace Museum, Beijing. While I am competent in translating anything written for the general public, I specialize in the humanities and social sciences, especially religion and psychology. I also provide editing services.
