One of the first reference saxes made, this Sax has been carefully used on an almost daily basis, and regularly overhauled. There are no major dents. There are the usual small wear points on a sax of this age, forinstance on the Octave key, but is in good condition and pleases asthetically. Antique gold finish. Try and you will see why these early ref 54s are the most sought after. Bring your own mouthpiece! Bottom bflat comes out even at low volume, and the horn delivers through all the way to top F#, and beyond if you have the chops.
