Primary responsibility is to provide technical support for data management software products, as well as disk-based backup products, resolving highly complex issues in a wide variety of technical environments.
Provide remote level 1 & 2 technical support. Continuously communicate troubleshooting and resolution finding efforts to customers.
High level UNIX system administration and troubleshooting skills on multiple Unix platforms
Familar with backup applications such as Legato Networker and Veritas NetBackup.
Knowledge of SCSI and fiber channel technology, networking and SAN. Brocade trained/certified is a major plus
Ability to communicate fluently in English, Chinese Mandarin, and Japanese, both verbally and written. Additional language skills are a plus. |
