Roles and Responsibilities :
• Responsible for VLSI design CAD tools and methodology application support require in state-of-the-art Chipset development team.
• Improve the design flow/methodology by evaluating solutions from external vendors, or develop it internally.
• Communicate with vendors on software feature improvement and bug fixes.
• Work closely with Design Engineers to understand the problem domain and come up with innovative solutions.
Requirements :
• BSc/BE/Msc in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or equivalent.
• Good knowledge in VLSI design and Unix/PC computing environment. Knowledgeable in Perl, C-shell, C/C++ and other software languages.
• Strong communication skill and excellent analytical and debug skills. Experience with commercial EDA tools will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel as part of the on-the-job training and on-going skill set development.
