I am a M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-Bombay with over 27 years of experience in the design, detailed engineering, field engineering services, project coordination, tendering and estimation for power projects - Gas turbine combined cycle plants and Coal fired plants.
My experience includes design of mechanical systems and piping, selection of mechanical equipments in the power system, preparation of specifications, specifying the functional requirements of controls and interlocks, review of vendor drawings, matching of process interfaces and integrating, preparing the operation manuals and engineering co-ordination.
My last assignment (from 2000 June to 2003 December) was as engineering co-ordination and control manager for a 168.1 MW combined cycle power plant EPC project in Sri Lanka which was executed by us for AES Corporation. At present I work in the Proposals engineering department. |
