Esmeralda is a female German Shepherd abt 3-4 mths old, found wandering the streets, hungry, skinny and all alone. She was rescued and brought 2 PAWS.
Zelda has a deformed left hind leg. Her left femur was dislocated & fractured; the injury healed on its own and left Zelda with a twisted, stiff & almost unusable left hind leg.
She will undergo corrective surgery.
Despite all that Zelda seems to be coping fine, she walks and runs, she eats well and is full of fun and life.She learnt how to go up the stairs & loves practice running up & down. Zelda is a lovely girl, with the best temperament, and she loves people & other animals. She is simply adorable and most endearing.
Also,Zelda will need special care after surgery ~ Zelda CANNOT be a "home-alone" dog. Zelda will always have a weaker/handicapped leg. Surgery may help, but cannot completely repair her old injury. She will need special supplements to keep her joints strong. |
