| This painting in oil is a lovely example of Gorospe's early abstracts. The colors are vivid and it is one of those which will truly appreciate over time. The difference's between this early work and the artist's later paintings of a similar type are very apparent; with his earlier work having style much more beautiful. The painting is in very good condition; although the plastered frame would be better off replaced with something more durable than plastered wood. Paco signed this painting in red on the upper right corner. If there is truly a Papa Gorospe lover and collector who can view this painting and not covet the beauty and talent so very obvious at a price that makes everyman a potential museum quality art owner; then he knows not gorospe. I would love nothing more than a buyer such as Tony; whose sheer joy at just admiring the lost talent of Paco Gorospe through Boy with Fighting Cock. Included as a bonus is a lovely blue vase with abstract fish, not Gorospe, but attractive. |
