Recently, Injectible Glutathione in the form of Roche Milano’s Tationil, worked its way into many skin clinics. Dermatologists prefer it over oral L-glutathione as the rate of absorption of oral glutathione is affected by the person’s diet. One vial of Tationil is said to deliver 600mg of glutathione directly into the bloodstream.
Injectible glutathione is administered through a vein at the crook of the patient’s elbow or at the back of his hand. The procedure lasts no longer than 2 minutes and the sting likened to an ant bite. It is recommended that Tationil injections be done 2x a week for three weeks and then once a week until desired results are achieved.
