Rarer than rare old notes, an authentic 1940 opium sale license issued by the British Straits Settlement Government for sale. Issued on 4 Sep 1940 to our great-grandfather to sell opium at his shop before World War 2. The certificate has been passed down 4 generations. Kept under lock & key. Potential auction piece at Sotheby’s & Christie’s in rare documents category. Now out for a reluctant, rare sale for minimum EUROS$10,000 (or S$20,000).
