Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1) Tertiary qualifications in appropriate Technology or a related discipline and/or
relevant industry accreditation(s);
2) Previous experience with Software Defined Radio technologies or SCA concepts,
highly regarded;
3) DSP coding and algorithm development;
4) C,C++ Programming expertise in embedded soft-real time envirionment essential;
5) Scripting language (PERL, Python other) expertise optional;
6) Minimum 2 to 3 years relevant experience;
7) Telecom wireless interface & cellular core network interfaces;
8) Telecom WAN interfaces & protocols;
9) Understanding of Wireless standards Physical layer & MAC/LAC;
10) Exposure to GSM, CDMA, 3G, WiFi or WiMax highly regarded;
11) Exposure to SNMP, TNM, CMIP, CORBA highly regarded;
12) Exposure to working in a structured quality management process is desirable.
