Volunteers are needed to move the world towards a brighter future.
Have you ever wanted to gain new and meaningful experiences, work together with an international community, or just help other people?
Then become a Development Instructor at Yunnan Institute of Development. YID offers an 11-month course open to people of many different countries and backgrounds. Our volunteers work together with local people in rural China to help improve their nutrition, hygiene, and education. We also help to change their economic, social, and environmental conditions.
Our next teams of volunteers start September 1st and November 1st 2009.
Yunnan province is located in the southwest of China. It is the home of many minorities.
