The DS965GM-1, a new addition to Duosonic's DS965 series, raises the functions and efficiency of the mini-ITX embedded motherboard to a new height and makes hardware upgrades more flexible. The motherboard employs a mini-ITX format, while the computer also boosts a Intel® GM965 graphic chipset, an Intel® GMA X3100 Graphics Media Accelerator, a Socket 478 motherboard, as well as Intel® Celeron® M or Intel® Core™2 Duo processors that are specially designed for laptops and offer high efficiency, low noise and low power consumption.
The computer is assembled with a processor widely applied in laptops and a DDR2 memory 800 MHz 240 Pin DIMM - a standard for desktops. This gives the user the option of an embedded motherboard, a notebook processor that is fast and power efficient, and DDR2 800MHz that is widely used in desktop computers. Memory can be expanded up to 2GB, a feature which will help save on the cost of memory updates.
