This trailer is new. It is designed to carry a 32' cabin cruiser weighing a maximum of 16,000 lbs, but it could also carry a large sailboat if padded steel uprights were added. It has three axles with brakes, and the entire frame and cross members are made from 6" steel C-channel. Tubular steel will hold water and gradually rust from the inside out until the frame breaks in two. So the only place I use tubular steel is in a tongue where I can leave it open at both ends to keep water from sitting there. Big trailer companies sell a trailer like this for $ 12,000 or more. I just want $ 5,500 for it and for $ 500 more I'll add the sailboat uprights.
