-Higher education qualifications.-Valid IWCF surface BOP, supervisor’s level well control certification or equivalent.-Valid Medical Certificate.-Valid HUET & Offshore Survival Certificate.-Adequate 15 years oilfield experience, at least 5 years with floating drilling rigs, at least 5 years with platform/tender or jack-up drilling rigs.-A strong working knowledge of HPHT drilling and completion operations.-Fluent in oral and written English.-Familiar & experienced with HSE Standards & Procedures and HSE culture of major international operators.-Computer Literate.-Familiar & experienced with drilling reporting software.-Ability to write clear & comprehensive reports and instructions.-Familiar & experienced with offshore logistics.-Familiar & experienced managing rig contractor and service company personnel offshore.-Familiarity with drilling in Vietnam would be an advantage but not essential.
