I really want to have a male/female chinchilla to keep companion. I just bought a big and lovely house to move in. I used to have one for two years and I let my niece to take care of her when I was on holiday. She absolutely loved her and I had to leave my little cute to her. I am well prepared to have another one and I could pick him/her up. My best solution would be in Auckland but could do if within three hours drive distance from Auckland.
