My friend Nick S. quietly asked me at a BBQ what I thought would happen if he combined "this morph and that morph". I gave my usual reply of "I dunno, but it might be neat", and more or less forgot about it. Two years later, a photo of a stunning new gecko arrived in my emails from Nick. He explained that while he'd gotten one of what he was after, it proved very very difficult to produce them from hets due to gene linkage issues. Now, after two more years, he's got the lines stabilized at last but suddenly had to dump the entire project in my lap to attend law school. I can't complain, in my thirty plus years of breeding Leopard Geckos, this is certainly one of the most eye-catching morphs I've ever seen.
