Paintings FOR SALE:
Indian Corn Harvest was painted on a rough Texas linen with Rare Earth Pigments ground into artist grade oil paints by John. The linen is attached to the stretcher bars with copper nails rather than staples by John. The linen is sized with rabbit skin glue prepared by John rather than a white gesso which would hide the natural color of the linen and distort the pigment colors as applied. John collects Rare Earth Pigments from all over the world to prepare his archival paints. The hues are rare and near impossible to duplicate. Due to the rarity of the pigments, John tries to paint with pure pigment rather than mix pigments or dilute them with whites or blacks to lighten or darken. The painting Indian Corn Harvest represents 234 hours +/- of work. The painting INDIAN CORN HARVEST should prove to be a good investment over time. Contact John at firstname.lastname@example.org.
