The South Puget Sound Program –WSC Volunteer Coordinator will help run the Washington chapter’s
robust South Sound Volunteer Program and expand recruitment opportunities. Service time with
volunteers will include outreach, recruitment, and facilitation of volunteer days across prairie preserves.
Outreach tasks will include leading field tours, presenting at local and regional job fairs, disseminating
outreach materials, producing website content, and pursuing earned media opportunities. Depending
on the time of year, 1 to 3 days per week will be spent in the field with the volunteers, completing land
stewardship tasks across the South Sound prairies with preparation and follow up reports completed at
the Olympia office.
