JOB RESPONSIBILITES: - Provide and maintain a safe operation for all operating employees, correcting unsafe acts and conditions that create potential for incident or injury. - Provide the necessary instruction and training and enforcement of all operating employees in Safe Operating Practices. - Coordinate work activities to ensure compliance with company policies, labor agreements, and local, state, and federal regulations. -Establish and maintain administrative and general supervision over all matters relating to an efficient operation. This includes regulation of manpower, motive power, and crew power, to reflect fluctuations in business conditions.-Make periodic inspections of facilities and operations, make recommendations for the formulation of plans, policies, programs, and objectives, and assists in their implementation.
