The Hoyt Farm is a historic retreat located 70 miles from NYC with spectacular million dollar views. After a major fie, this magnificent home was carefully rebuilt using historic methods in 2011-2012. Some of the features are beautiful gourmet marble kitchen, wide board floors, 2 fireplaces, marble baths, breathtaking views, guest quarters, wrap around deck, covered front porch and enclosed porch. There is a separate brick office/guest house with gorgeous woodwork, fireplace and 1/2 bathroom. Pond and several sheds. A little history about the farm: The farm was built in 1771 by Cornelius Hasbrouck and is a designated historic landmark. The Federal wing was added about 1840 and expanded under Joseph Andrews. He sold the farm to John Gail Borden in 1881. Borden was the condensed milk king of the USA. Dr.Clare J. Hoyt purchased the farm in 1951 and the house was restored. An absolutely beautiful property that must be seen.
